So the presentation is over and now the scramble to finish the final report is on.
My section was in regards to competitors and threats to the 'Green Arches' tool, and how we could best market and utilise the tool.
It read as follows:
I thoroughly enjoyed searching for competing tools but was surprised at the lack of competition. There needs to be more accountability for restaurants, especially fast food ones, because of their potential to do significant harm in their waste, energy and food sourcing.
I hope that companies such as McDonalds, KFC and Subway are held more accountable and take on board more sustainable practices in the future.
